A memory from my childhood. The good old days, when the constitution meant something

Many years ago a little document called the Declaration of Independence was written.

We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I think democrats look at this declaration like this...

Who's to say,  there is a creator.  Who's to say,  when a life begins.  Who's to say what Liberty really is.  And pursuit.. you mean we have to persue!

What about this idea?   A team effort...John McCain on national defence,  with Rudy Giuliani as district attorney, and Mitt Romney as Treasurer.    Actually, Bill O'Reilly suggested this team to McCain to take down the corrupt Wall Street people.  Not a bad idea.  I'm  actually thinking about voting for this team for "Presidents."  Not a bad idea either... Don't you think?

My Mother of Wisdom

Hello, this is Michelle's daughter, Erin.  I thought I'd help my mom out with setting up a blog!  She happens to be VERY talented in many things.  Her biggest gift, however, is  that she is FULL OF WISDOM.  My computer has the definition of "wisdom" as being:  the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement.  That sums up my mom.  Whether it is the latest hairstyle or fashion, parenting or politics, she seems to have an innate ability to be on top of the latest!!  I guess I'm just proud of my loud-mouth (in the best way) mom and her political views, her undying love for style, her deep beliefs in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and her need to share with everyone... including those that find themselves in her stylist chair!  I thought it'd be fun to share her views with those not as fortunate as some, to walk into her salon, have an edifying conversation on all topics, and walk out with a brilliant new do!

What to expect on this blog:

1) Political topics

2) Her fashion interest (I understand she was just asked to give a class on staying in the latest fashions)

3) Her on-growing testimony of our Church

4) and inevitably- grandkids and more grandkids

I'm hoping that this blog will find all of our friends and family wondering who to vote for and what to wear!
