A little catching up do do (not a typo)

                                                                Raleigh and Will
                                                                           Cooper
                                                                    Leisel and Cohen
                                                            Leisel, Raleigh, Olive, Madge
So I just read Raleigh's blog, and she said it felt like a long time since she had last blogged. She said it had been practically the whole summer! Well it's been about 4 years since I last blogged..WHAT? Raleigh...you inspired me by blogging and by asking me to put recipes on my blog. I don't know how to do that yet, but I'm working on it. Let me catch up a little first... Four years ago, grand babies were just that..babies. Now I have 2 four year olds, and 2 two year olds. Of course Cohen and Olive, and now Leisel and Madge. No more babies (for the moment), only a baby puppy of Raleigh's. We had some family changes (big ones!) Brekk got a divorce, she is doing very well, despite some very trying times for all of us. She lives in Nebraska, but is trying to move here to St. George. BTW..We live in St. George, UT. Another "big one". Buff's dad passed away, and Buff is now running Cinnamon Hills Youth Crisis Center.(Big one) I love it here...especially the weather! We added a new member to the family...William Donobain Taylor. Raleigh was married on April 21, 2012 in the St. George Temple. I am so happy for her, and we love Will. He is a great addition to the family, and literally a "big one". (he's 6'4" tall:)) As far as politics...schmolitics! I have been out of it partly because of my life changes, and partly because I got a little tired of it. Although... I think this election is a very important one. I mean it will be the end of the world, or we will hang on for a little longer. If Obama becomes President, it's time for the world to end. I am o.k. with that. At least we won't have to live with his politics. If Romney wins, the Lord is giving us a little more time to work things out. I hope for this, we have a lot to work out. That's about the extent of my politics right now...But how about the Chick-fel-a controversy? I loved it! What? free speech for those who have Christian conservative values? IDK what this world is coming to. (sorry, I am a little cynical). Love the Olympics. I watch them everyday. Love, love, love diving. Love swimming. Gymnastics too. Raleigh dives for BYU. I am so proud of her, and love watching her. Maybe someday in the Olympics (one never knows). But...here comes my "politics". The announcer, when talking about Gabby Douglas the American all-around gold medalist, said,"I bet all the young African Americans, watching Gabby will have more hope for their future" (paraphrased). Oh brother! Can't we just leave it at that she is a talented girl who won the gold. I can hear it now if Rals won gold..."I bet all the young Scandinavian Americans with blonde hair, that are actually talented instead of dumb because of their hair color, will have more hope for their future?" (sorry, I'm on a role). Still love the Olympics! Well that is the long and short of it for now. I will try and keep a little more updated on my posts. I will post pictures and recipes if I can figure it out. I am a little excited to be a blogger again...a little:)
